Family Based Immigration Solutions

For most people, immigration is personal. It is about being in the same country as the people who matter most. Caroline Baker Law helps families navigate a system that is often slow, complicated, and unforgiving of mistakes — with clear guidance at every step.

Family Based Immigrant Visas & Green Cards

U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents can petition to bring certain family members to the United States as lawful permanent residents. The process begins with an I-130 petition establishing the qualifying relationship — for spouses, children, parents, and in some cases siblings. Depending on whether your family member is inside or outside the United States, the path to a green card runs through either adjustment of status or consular processing at a U.S. embassy abroad. Caroline Baker Law guides families through both processes, prepares clients for their interviews, and works to resolve delays when they arise.

Caroline Baker Law will also work with you through the Removal of Conditions process to receive your full 10 year Green Card.

Naturalization

For lawful permanent residents who are ready to become U.S. citizens, naturalization is the final step. Eligibility generally requires five years of continuous permanent residence — or three years for those married to a U.S. citizen — along with good moral character and basic English and civics requirements. Caroline Baker Law prepares and files N-400 applications and helps clients understand exactly what to expect at their interview.
